26/11/2010: The Consulate's Joy to the World, A Christmas Concert to be staged in Maui, Kona, and Honolulu

24 November 2010. The Philippine Consulate General cordially invites all Filipinos to come and experience the much-anticipated “Joy to the World” A Christmas Concert,   in Maui on 28 November,  Kona on 4 December  and Honolulu on 11 December 2010.

“Joy to the World”  is a presentation for the Filipino Community in Hawaii in celebration of the most joyous season of the year in commemoration of the Savior’s birth.

The Concert will feature Hawaii’s renowned Filipino artists led by  Amado Cacho,  a Broadway alumni,  Deputy Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes, Cielo Guillermo, Mack Esteban, Arnold Pontillas and the Philippine Chorale. Singers Kristian Lei and Tioni Tam Sing will also join the all-star ensemble at the Honolulu concert as Special Guests.

The Philippine Celebrations Coordinating Committee of Hawaii (PCCCH), the Filipino Business Women’s Association, the Filipino Women’s Civic Club,  the Kona Visayan Association, the Ilocos Surian Association and the Maui Filipino Community Council are co-sponsoring the concerts.
