29/04/2019: CLAIMING OF BALLOT KITS RETURNED BY THE US POSTAL SERVICE TO THE PHILIPPINE CONSULATE (RETURNED TO SENDER)

The Philippine Consulate General informs registered overseas Filipino voters in Hawaii and American Samoa whose names appear in the list that the electoral packets containing their ballots were returned by the US Postal Service. These packets may now be claimed at the Philippine Consulate from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The said voters should present their passport or any valid ID with signature when claiming their ballots.  They may also request the Consulate to send their ballots to their present address in Hawaii or American Samoa by  sending an email to honolulu.pcg@dfa.gov.ph, until Friday, 3 May 2019.

The Philippine Consulate reminds all registered overseas Filipino voters that the ballots should be received by the Consulate on or before Monday, 12 May 2019 at 12:00 midnight Hawaii time (6:00 p.m. Manila time on 13 May 2019). Ballots received after the close of the voting period will no longer be counted.

Voters who changed their address are advised to check the list regularly for updates. (END)
