24/02/2016: I AM FOR PEACE CAMPAIGN (Online Postcard Photo Contest)

The Philippine Consulate General informs the public that the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) seeks to build a strong constituency supporting the government’s efforts in achieving a just and lasting peace for the country.

The I AM FOR PEACE campaign through “Postcards for Peace” intends to take advantage of the coming love season to bring the issue of peace in the consciousness of the people.

“Postcards for Peace” illustrates five key themes very close to every Filipino’s heart such as: Family, Love, Generosity, Reconciliation and Children. These will be made available for free to the public, which they can send to friends and relatives in the Philippines and abroad.

There will also be a “Postcards for Peace” Online Photo Contest to boost the exposure of the project, with the following mechanics:

• Get free Postcards for Peace.

• Like and follow the different social media accounts of I AM FOR PEACE in Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

• Submit photos or selfie of the “Postcards for Peace” with (your written) message answering the question, What can you contribute to Peace?

• Upload the photo or selfie in the different social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, TAGGING the I AM FOR PEACE page in the uploaded photo or selfie to qualify as an entry to the online photo contest, and INCLUDE the hashtags ‪#‎PostcardsForPeace‬ and‪#‎IAMForPEACE‬ .

• The most creative photo or selfie, most captivating message and most number of likes and share, has a chance in winning the prize.

• Submit different entries from 12 February 2016 to 15 March 2016.
• Prizes: First Place Php 7,000.00
Second Place Php 5,000.00
Third Place Php 3,000.00
